3) Clean off dust after each use. Store the instrument in its case after coating 
     the Level base in oil to prevent rusting. 
4) Remove the battery if the instrument will not be used for an extended period. 
5) Store the instrument away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and period. 
6) Avoid placing the instrument close to magnetic objects or magnetic fields.
